Volunteer at HSMC
Humane Society of Mason County does not currently have a physical shelter building. So typical daily shelter type volunteer activities such as walking dogs or cleaning kennels isn't where we need the most help. We need help in our communities, building relationships, providing services and helping stray or displaced animals have temporary shelter in foster homes.

Trap Neuter Return
Together as volunteers we will decrease the number of stray community cats by educating, spreading the word and performing TNR & community outreach. TNR stands for Trap, Neuter, Return. Outdoor community cats that have never been handled by humans must be humanely trapped in order to be transported to our mobile spay and neuter clinics.
