When you submit an adoption application with the Humane Society of Mason County, you don't need to have a specific animal in mind. Once we receive your application, an adoption counselor will contact you to learn more about your household and preferences. They'll be able to offer suggestions of some animals who might be a good match.
​From there, you’ll have the opportunity to meet animals in various ways:
  • At Ziggy’s Cat Lounge in Bremerton, where you can interact with multiple cats in a relaxed environment.
  • At PetSmart in Silverdale and Valley Feed in Belfair, when available.
  • Through a scheduled appointment with our team.​

HSMC suggests kittens under 6 months to go home with a compatible feline friend. This request aims to prioritize the well-being and social development of the kittens. Don’t have a compatible cat at home?
