​Making a Difference

​With your support, the Humane Society of Mason County provides a second chance for companion animals. We receive no government funding and rely on the generosity of our community to help us rescue and provide loving care for animals in need. THANK YOU for partnering with us!

Through your support, HSMC is able to:

RESCUE

  • Rescue animals from hoarding, neglect and cruelty situations
  • Provide a loving home for stray and abandoned animals 
  • Accept animals into our program when owners can no longer provide care
  • ​​Accept countless babies and help spay mom through our Last Litter Program
  • ​Connect adopters with their new best friends

SUPPORT

  • Provide temporary care for pets whose people are in crisis through our Animal Safety Network​
  • Offer low-cost spay/neuter and vaccine services 
  • Support Trap Neuter and Return efforts for unsocialized cats
  • Provide specialty veterinary care for community pets in need
  • Reunite lost pets with their owners​
  • ​Offer pet owners food and supplies through local food banks
  • Offer advice for community members with pet related questions​

CARE

  • Ensure quality vet care for all the animals in our program, including specialized surgery, medications and diagnostics when needed
  • Perform round-the-clock care for neonatal kittens and puppies
  • Teach the dogs in our program how to live in a home with basic manners, utilizing our partner dog trainers when needed
  • Socialize dogs and cats who have not experienced love from humans​​
