Construction of Our Shelter Facility
One of our current goals is the construction of a permanent shelter facility. With the construction of a centrally located shelter, we would be able to serve more county residents and have a location for our shelter building. In January of 2015, the Humane Society of Mason County purchased 5 acres of property with plans to eventually build office space and an animal shelter. The property is between Belfair and Allyn, on North Mason School Road behind the High School and practice field. For up-to-date information about our shelter progress click here. (Updated March 2021)
