If you don't see your perfect match on our Adopt page, you may wish to consider a pet being directly rehomed in our community.
HSMC partners with Home To Home®, an online pet placement platform. It is a unique, direct-to-adopter tool for pet guardians looking to rehome or find a foster for their animals.

If you choose to adopt through Home To Home, please know that all communication between pet owners and prospective adopters takes place directly through the Home To Home platform. It is the responsibility of the owner to follow through with rehoming efforts and the responsibility of the prospective adopter to evaluate the animal.

​HSMC is not involved in the Home To Home rehoming process in any way. HSMC has not evaluated the pets listed on Home To Home and cannot verify the accuracy of any information shared through that platform. HSMC is not responsible for any present or future damage that the pet may cause to a person, another animal, or property; nor is HSMC responsible in any way for the pet's care needs.
​We encourage all prospective adopters to prioritize safety and use care when meeting strangers in person. Thoughtfully consider if the pet will be a logical match for your home environment, lifestyle, and personal preferences. You might find our Pet Adoption Guide to be a helpful tool.
